Exams
Many of us don't take advantage of preventative care. Having an annual exam can help prevent some medical conditions from developing, and for others it can catch them in an early stage when treatment is easier and more effective, making for a longer and healthier life.
- Checking for problems with your heart, blood pressure, cholesterol or diabetes could be a life saver
- Cancer is a danger to anyone and early detection is key. Some cancers like prostate cancers affect men later on in life, but did you know that the men most at risk for testicular cancer are between the ages of 18-35? Come in and make sure you don't become a statistic.
STI Testing and Treatment
- Whether it's for HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, HPV, Hepatitis B or C, Syphilis or a parasite, we can provide affordable testing and/or treatment. The most common symptom of having an STD is not having any symptoms at all. Don't be fooled. Be certain. Know your status. Take control.
Sports Physicals
- Another great service offered by MMC is the sport physical. For the student athlete or weekend warrior out there getting a sports physical is essential, and we offer these at affordable prices for you and your children.
Smoking Cessation
- We all know smoking isn't good for us, but once we have started it is very difficult to resist. MMC can help you quit.
Diabetes Screening
- Diabetes is one of the leading causes of death for men. Type II diabetes develops later on in life but there is much that we can do to reverse it and even live a healthy lifestyle with diabetes. The key is knowing that you have it. Take control. Get screened.
High Blood Pressure Screening
- High blood pressure is known as a silent killer because the first time a person realizes they have the disease is when it has struck them down, either putting them in the hospital or the grave. Learn the symptoms and be sure to get screened. Take control!
Cholesterol Screening
- Having high cholesterol could increase your risk for a heart attack or stroke. There are no symptoms for high cholesterol. Take control of your health and get screened.
